ENROLLING

Can Path180 help teens drink less?

We're testing whether Path180 — an online educational program — helps teenagers and young adults reduce their drinking.

  • We're testing whether Path180 —an online educational program — helps teenagers and young adults who are already getting counseling for mental health, alcohol, or other drug use, reduce their drinking.

What we’re looking for

What taking part looks like

  1. A phone call, about 5 minutes

We ask some questions to see whether the study might fit. Nothing is decided on this call.

  2. A virtual screening visit

You meet the study team, we explain everything in detail, see if you are eligible for the study, and you decide whether to enroll.

  3. Eight weeks of the study

You will use an app on your phone for 8 weeks and complete weekly check in visits via Zoom. You may also view the Path180 program.

  4. Follow up visits

Three and six months after you complete the study, you will meet with the study team via Zoom.

You can stop at any time

Taking part is your choice. You can leave the study whenever you want, for any reason, and it will not affect care you receive at Bradley Hospital or anywhere else.

Who sees your information

What you tell us stays with the study team. We describe exactly what your parent does and does not see before you enroll, so there are no surprises. Study records are kept separate from your medical chart.
